large(2.5¡¿2.5cm) dentigerous cyst arising froma mesiodens which was found at left premaxillary area eroding palate, premaxilla, nasal floor and roots of left upper central and lateral incisors, En bloc enucleation of the cyst was performed and
the
large bony defect was filed with antibiotic and thrombin-impregnated Gelfoam. The incision site was closed with meticulous water-tight interrupted 5-0 nylon sutures. We report with follow up CT scans after 4 months.
So far as we have followed up the patient. Filling the bony defect with thrombin and Gelfoam(r), a absorbable gelatin sponge revealed a good tissue replacement material.
